Conscious Choices

Please view the web site, www.goodguide.com, which provides information about the health, environmental and social impacts of products in our home. As we become more informed, we can make purchasing choices based on our value system rather than on the marketing position of a product. In this process, there is a change that is created in the system because more educated people will make purchasing choices that leave undesirable products on the shelf.

Making conscious choices has a strong energy flow that has a ripple effect that is felt downstream. Each of us makes a difference each day. It may seem very subtle, but in the greater scope there is a definite impact. All of those ripples create a wave!

One Response to “Conscious Choices”

  • I’ve been reading The Dhammapada with a wonderful introduction by Eknath Easwaran, who is also a great story-teller. Eknath also translated this version of Buddha’s teachings. “Little by little,” the Buddha says, “we make ourselves good, as a bucket fills with water drop by drop.” Little by little, too, we change the world we live in. Even the grand earthshaking events of history have their origins in individual thought.
